Gifted Advisory Committee

The Gifted Advisory Committee (GAC) provides guidance and input to the school board related to the educational needs of students formally identified as gifted. In accordance with the Section 8VAC20-40-60B of the Regulations, the Petersburg City Public Schools advisory committee has two responsibilities:

1. To review annually the local plan for the education of gifted students, including revisions, and
2. To determine the extent to which the plan for the previous year was implemented.
