Overview
Welcome to the Communications Department. The communications department is responsible for emergency communications, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, graphic design, marketing, mass notifications, media relations, photography, social media, and videography.
Media Inquiries:
PCPS complies with all application state laws and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Members of the media who want to record, photograph, or interview PCPS students or staff must submit their request through to the communications department at communications@petersburg.k12.va.us.
Any time a member of the media is on PCPS property, a member of the PCPS communications team will serve as an escort to minimize disruption at the school and to assist with additional requests.
