Petersburg City Public Schools is seeking your feedback as we develop and prepare to submit our waiver to Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) regarding the use of leftover Title I funds. 

This waiver allows school divisions to retain and spend unspent Title I funding to support students so that they can meet state academic standards. We can use these funds to support targeted initiatives, including but not limited to:

• Additional instructional support and tutoring in reading and math
• Professional development for teachers
• Instructional technology
• Learning materials
• Parent and family engagement programs
