DYK? PCPS is laser focused on reducing chronic absenteeism and increasing daily student attendance! PCPS devised and implemented a multi-prong approach to tackling the issue of chronic absenteeism across the school division to meet the Board's goal of reducing chronic absenteeism by 3% this school year.

From our division-wide attendance task force and attendance dashboard to our school-based attendance teams, weekly attendance meetings, and even a traveling attendance, we are focused on daily attendance so our students can graduate with a life filled with choices.
