PCPS, in collaboration with the Petersburg YMCA, will provide elementary Summer Academy 2026 students in Grades K-5 with the opportunity to be a part of the Power Scholars Academy!

(K means students who have already completed Kindergarten and will be rising 1st graders in fall 2026)

 

June 15, 2026 - July 9, 2026 - Monday through Thursday, with Fridays reserved for the following:

 

Enrichment activities and field trips will take place for K-5 Summer on Fridays directed by the Petersburg YMCA

  • (Attendance is required on Monday-Thursday to be eligible for any Friday activity/field trip. (More information is available once the YMCA receives a separate completed registration form for the Power Scholars Academy Program. Once you register for the PCPS Summer Academy 2026, you will be contacted separately by the Petersburg YMCA). 

  • You MUST REGISTER separately for the YMCA program to be considered for the.  Spaces are limited and there is a registration deadline.
