2021-2022 Adopted Calendar

The Petersburg School Board approved the school calendar to position students to succeed academically, meet state requirements, and contain the adequate instructional time to accommodate potential bad weather. Click here to view the 2021-2022 School Calendar

There are 180 instructional days for students: Classes start Sept. 7 and end June 17.
There is one early-release days for students which is the last day of school, June 17th.
Teacher workdays 5 preservice days and 3 during the calendar year which are designated at-home learning days for students. Last day for teachers is June 17th
June 20th is a PCPS holiday for staff.
Parent-teacher conferences will be on Nov. 2rd, which is a student holiday. Parents will be able to sign up for specific conference times starting at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thanksgiving break is Nov. 24-26.
Winter break is Dec. 20-Dec. 31.
Spring break is April 4-8.
For 12-month employees, only the following days are holidays: July 5, September 6, November 25, 26, December 23, 24, 30, 31, January 17, April 4-5, May 30, and June 21.
