Innovate 2022 — a strategic plan developed with broad community input over the 2016-17 school year and adopted in May 2017 — is designed to improve academic achievement, put Petersburg City Public Schools on a firm foundation and lift up the entire Petersburg community.
Innovate 2022 establishes a new mission for the school system: Petersburg City Public Schools will develop 21st-century citizens able to effectively collaborate, communicate and innovate. The plan focuses on supporting student achievement so that every Petersburg graduate is
